Cinema has always been a way of gathering. Watch Party brings ALT EFF's environmental cinema into spaces of your own, from homes and cafés to workplaces and community spaces. From 3 to 13 December 2026, host a screening with films from India and around the world. Choose a curated film bundle, gather your people and watch together. ALT EFF provides the films, the tools and everything you need to host.

The climate crisis is everywhere. The stories that help us understand it should be too. Introduced in 2025, Watch Party has already brought ALT EFF films to more than 200 screenings around the world, from community spaces and institutions to living rooms.

It is one more way to make environmental cinema accessible to more people, in more places.

 We provide the films, filmmaker interviews and a hosting toolkit with conversation prompts and everything you need to make the screening your own.

  2. You’ll be redirected to Eventive, our streaming platform, where you pick your curation and pay a nominal fee for your package.

  3. Check your email for our Party Starter Kit and design templates to invite your community.

  4. Lock the date (festival dates only)

  5. Send those invitations!

  6. Optionally invite speakers, subject matter experts, musicians, catering or whatever else you think will enrich the experience.

 FAQs

  • Anyone, anywhere. As long as you have internet access. Films are available to stream globally. Watch Parties can be hosted by individuals or by businesses.

  • If you’d like to, you can. As a business hosting a Watch Party, we suggest you keep the event free and instead meet a profit by selling food and beverage and hosting a marketplace.

  • As many as you like! You could host a Watch Party every day of the festival if you so please. Films are only available for streaming from December 3rd - December 13th, 2026.

  • Unfortunately, no. But you can watch the trailers, read the synopsis and see the film posters to give you a good sense of the content. ALT EFF is renowned and trusted for our curatorial skills; you can trust us!

  • Absolutely! Bring in musicians, theatre, subject matter experts, or whatever else you think will enliven and enrich the event.
