About Us

Everyone, everywhere, all at once.

That is the quality of attention that the climate crisis requires.
It demands a groundswell of engaged citizens calling for change and indeed, participating in their own daily behavioural change.

How do we energise this groundswell?

We leverage the oldest & most effective human form of knowledge transfer – storytelling in community .

All Living Things Environmental Film Festival (ALT EFF) is India’s premiere showcase of today’s climate stories.  Through pay-as-you-feel global online streaming & in-person community screenings, our audience witnesses untold stories of regeneration, activism, crisis and hope.

Our Mission & Vision

  • Increase environmental awareness

By curating impact storytelling and experiential learning that is accessible and relevant, ALT EFF works to increase climate awareness and scale and enable that awareness into action.

  • Groundbreaking & compelling films

ALT EFF showcases the beauty of our planet, creates awareness on current and critical issues, and leaves you feeling inspired to envision and shape our possible futures. We curate stories of truth, inspiration and hope.

  • Inspire Local Solutions

With screening that are decentralised and hyper-localised, these events are a way for citizens to connect with each other and grassroots change-makers to envision localised climate action.

  • Enabling Talented Filmmakers

The rising tide lifts all boats. ALT EFF strives to encourage the environmental film making movement in India by showcasing Indian films, giving filmmakers a platform to speak about their work, and upskilling through collaborative masterclasses.
