Synopsis

When protecting the land for the wildlife, humans are asked to relocate. Without preconceived judgements, the filmmaker treks through the Satpura region, meeting officials, villagers, and experts to collate their views on how to sustain balance between the tigers and the indigenous communities.

From the filmmaker

Can compensation in its format of land for land actually deliver true justice? This was the question that started our pursuit of this documentary. Instead of having a preconceived judgement on the relocation program, we decided it would be best to have conversations with both sides of the coin. Our film tries to understand loss and longing of the communities, wildlife tourism suffering from Mega Mammal Myopia and the hard truths of conservation efforts.
