Synopsis

Living with limited hearing, a 60 year old man works around machines that threaten what remains. Knowing silence may be inevitable, he begins listening more closely, holding onto birds, wind, voices, and machines. As the world grows quieter, he searches for ways to keep listening, remembering, and carrying sound within.

What traces do we leave behind—not only in the lives of others, but also in the world we inhabit? While making this film, I wanted to explore the quiet relationship between human emotions and the environment around us. Nature, in this story, is not merely a backdrop. It is a silent witness that absorbs our memories, our losses, our hopes, and the consequences of our actions. I believe that every choice we make creates an echo, and those echoes continue long after we are gone.
