Synopsis

When filming with a Super 8 camera, what you see is what you get. It is grainy, light-leaky, and distinctively analog. Super Nature stitches together Super 8 film from around the world to create an incredibly intimate love letter to our shared planet, exploring the hopes, joys and inspirations that bind us all.

We expect to see nature on our screens mainly in one much-loved way. Is there another way that speaks to our emotions as much as our minds? At a time when the natural world feels desperately fragile, and human existence so questionable, could there be an alternative, highly original gaze on the natural world around us and the way we fit within it?
