Synopsis

Preeti Saryan takes her colleague Shashwat on a walk around the forest neighbourhood that inspired her career as an ecologist. With childlike wonder, they identify and discussed beloved flora and fauna.

From the filmmaker

In 2025, I attended a Magazine launch event in Kinnaur, which was organised by a local group, there I saw Preeti Di taking a session on local ecology and the work she was doing in Kinnaur. The way she was talking about the environment in the local context - I was really impressed by her. I was very surprised as to how comfortable she was for making a film. She immediately said yes and told me to visit her a day after.
