Synopsis

Luciana’s visit to Pantanal turned into a devastating witness of the loss of land and 17 million wildlife inhabitants due to blazing fires. She then begins an investigation, which develops into a mesmerising tale of the land and its community, and Luciana’s will to spotlight the region across the globe.

The Pantanal is one of the most remarkable places on Earth, home to an incredible array of life, from the tiniest creatures to iconic predators. Every sound here is a story, every shadow – a promise, every encounter – out of this world. But wetlands are vanishing at an alarming rate globally, disappearing three times faster than forests. This film aims to highlight these changes and show why there is still an opportunity to protect and sustain the Pantanal.
