Artist James McKay uses a unique blend of mixed-media animation to explore climate justice and well-being. Through conversations with scientists, the film shows us the high quality of life on offer for all, once we center love, creativity, and equality.

While we are aware of the climate crisis, what we lack are positive visions to help us envisage a better future. Using the artistry of James McKay and the power of animation, No One is an Island brings a science-modelled net-zero 2050 to life. We hope it will plant a seed, and spark more creative conversations to seek viable, transformative solutions to help us create a better world together.
