A film that brings children’s vivid imaginations of forests and their creatures to life, capturing how they make sense of a fast-changing world. Innocent, playful and deeply curious, it reveals how children see every living thing as having emotions, personalities and stories of its own. From the filmmaker

What we found most meaningful about the film was the way children see nature as a part of their everyday lives. Their story carries a strong concern for the environment. At the same time, the image of a bird planting a seed, the arrival of rain, and the forest becoming green again expresses the children’s sense of hope and belief in the possibility of renewal. We have tried to present the children’s language, ideas, and imagination as honestly as possible.
