Synopsis

Professor Cristina Dorador journeyed across the majestic Chilean Salt Flats to find alternatives to antibiotics, only to find out that the desert landscapes have become hotspots to lithium mining for e- vehicles. Under this complex dilemma, Cristina investigates for what is going to be more sustainable & urgent?

We hope that audiences that watch LIFE INVISIBLE will retain from Cristina's work the awareness that everything in the world we inhabit is intimately interconnected, from the smallest to the most macro, and that in the end everything matters and requires care. We live in an interdependent reality and if tomorrow the salt flats disappear, not only will one type of landscape disappear, but also the sources from which the medicines that save our own lives - those too could disappear.
