Synopsis

Who pays the price of “Green progress?” An indigenous community questions their Ministry, who are willing to dispose of their community to set up wind turbines in Fosen. This battle in the region is a mirror for global energy transition and the expenses we choose not to see.

From the filmmaker

For a long time, I was one of the people who saw wind power as an unambiguous win for the planet. I believed deeply in the need for a green energy transition—and I still do. Renewable energy is essential to confronting the climate crisis. But I had never seriously asked where it was built, or who was asked to pay the price. This film is my attempt to understand what happens when “good intentions” coexist with injustice.
