Synopsis

The film explores a texture of coexistence between the residents of Chandrapur and its Tigers. Dr. Anish Adheria and his team are on a journey to resolve the conflicts with tangible solutions that would aid all forest dwellers. Their message - conservation can sometimes look away from statistics and towards dignity.

Jwala was born from wanting to feel the texture of coexistence up close—what it costs, what it demands, and what breaks when safety is absent. Rather than hunting for a single explanation, the film stays with people at the forest edge as they work, grieve, worship and adapt. It asks a simple question with no simple answer: how do you share a landscape with an animal powerful enough to end your life?
