Synopsis

Amidst the picturesque landscapes of South-East Asia, through a unique tale of puppetry, an endangered monkey takes a walk around the neighbourhood exploring their curiosity & coexistence with human beings.

Through this film, audiences can experience curiosity, fear, hope and loneliness in a way that does not rely on real wildlife footage. Made in collaboration with Vietnamese and Malaysian artists, conservationists and local communities, this film is an experiment in expanding what a conservation story can look like. I hope it reminds audiences that sometimes the most powerful way to reveal the truth about the natural world is not simply to observe it, but to find new ways of helping people feel connected to it.
