Synopsis

Two lifelong friends and naturalists explore the thriving biodiversity in the lakes of Thailand that are threatened by rapid urban development. Their conversations open to how several little things can collectively regenerate and sustain these colourful and tranquil water bodies. Would they be able to save their paradise in time?

From the filmmaker

As a director and nature conservationist, I have been photographing and filming documentaries about nature and the environment for over 5 years, believing that storytelling through moving images has the power to change the world. The ‘Hidden Paradise’ project builds upon my previous work but with greater depth and urgency, as it documents ecosystems that are rapidly disappearing.
