Synopsis

The Green and Golden Bell frogs are living in the beautiful marshy scapes of New South Wales. Surviving predators is not the only danger they face, but the Chytrid fungus that flows in the waters is life-threatening. The frogs have to fight this, and someone is ready to help.

From the filmmaker

I have often found that many of nature’s most compelling stories are unfolding on a miniature scale. I was given the opportunity to explore my fascination creatively in order to reveal this hidden world. As wildlife face mounting pressures due to human impact on natural environments, it's important that we tell stories of recovery and hope, highlighting progress in the fight against decline. Escape is a reminder that even in the face of enormous challenges, seemingly simple solutions can have a profound impact.
