Synopsis

A thought-provoking narrative on a young girl opening up her simple world, and connecting the folk tales to the forest around her. Her discovery clashes with human greed, identity conflicts and silence that has been passed on through the generations. Will she grow up adapting or will she continue exploring?

From the filmmaker

This film emerges from my ongoing exploration of hybrid cinema and ethnographic storytelling. I wanted to trace how folklore and collective memory intersect with contemporary realities, and how silence can carry both oppression and resilience. The film’s slow, reflective rhythm is a deliberate choice, inviting audiences to dwell in overlooked textures and voices.
